Cooking classes in Tuscany

Cooking courses are becoming a real cult, after decades of fast food and frozen products is spreading again the pleasure to eat “homemade”.

Cooks or almost competed in the preparation of my grandmother’s recipes with appreciable results though not always appreciated by other people.

Address books and cooking shows are helping to spread the culture of good food but as we know the passion is not always sufficient and often recipes that seem simple on television and easily managed, in our kitchens and our pans are transformed into real and their culinary disasters.

These assumptions are based on the new frontiers of Italian tourism and especially Tuscany.

Are in fact spreading holiday packages that offer a pleasant stay in country homes combined with tastings of local produce and even organic farming courses in home cooking.

In this regard organizes weekend or longer stays for couples or groups of friends dedicated to old habits of farmers.

The large rural families were usual weekend meet in the kitchen to start preparing the Sunday lunch that would then consumed together.

Eggs, flour, garden produce and game were the basic ingredients of traditional cuisine and ingredients are now used in cooking classes offered to those who choose to live this experience.

It ‘s a new way to experience the real Tuscany, enjoying the quiet countryside, the goodness of products and valuable lessons of professional chefs who will follow you during all phases of food preparation and teach little tricks on cooking time and the right dose flour or other ingredients.

For a short time is like being catapulted into a parallel reality but far from the bustle of city life to enjoy the calm, the times and spirit of collaboration that offers home cooking.

I personally adept in preparing a 4 course menu, which was followed by a dinner with wines matched with dishes prepared in advance.

It ‘was a nice moment, great combination with the rest of the group, which with great professionalism has been handed the love and respect for good cooking.
It ‘was a pleasant experience that I would recommend to all those who have a passion for food and those who want to experience new ways to spend your time.
