Old Villa seventeenth century designed by the architect Gherardo Silvani on behalf of the then Governor of Livorno Jacopo Inghirami. In the early 800 had among its guests illustrious Napoleon Bonaparte, who today were devoted some rooms. At the end of 1960 the famous film director Luchino Visconti in search of places where to set his film came across this place and fell in love recommending the purchase to its producer, Franco Cristaldi. Since then opened a new era for the villa where time was spent thinking, breathing and making films imbued with harmony surrounded by creativity and carefree: the Dolce Vita had crossed the borders of Rome to this corner of Tuscany. Within these walls and in this beautiful park are born actors and scripts of many movies that have made this great historical period of our cinema.La creativity with which have been furnished rooms and bedrooms, typical of the sixties, has created different atmospheres in different environments of the villa, offering guests different settings for each threshold varcata.La variety of services offered make it the ideal place for a perfect holiday.
